Stayed in the hotel on the 26th April and was welcomed by a receptionist called Ashley who was so friendly and made you feel so welcome. We were brought to our room which was basic but nice. We went into the bar to have a per dinner drink and was welcomed by a lovely barman called Kevin. We then went into the restaurant where we had the most amazing meal with very friendly staff. A girl I think the restaurant manager came over and was really nice and helpful. Ashley then came in to us to let us know if we were interested the room I was enquiring about was available and she was upgrading which was the ambassador suite OMG you should see this room AMAZING is an understatement. Words can't thank her and all the staff you have made our first night away in 4years for my hubby's birthday one to remember and look so forward to staying here again. If your reading this review and are thinking of staying here do because the staff will make you feel so welcome and food is amazing you won't need to leave the hotel
“Hospitality first class”

Although I only stayed for 1 night it felt much longer.The staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble.Bedroom was spacious and very comfortable.The only meal I had in the hotel was breakfast which again was very good.The restaurant was very modern and had a real classy look.This was a short business trip but will definitely be back for a leisure weekend with my wife.“Absolutely FANTASTIC stay could not of asked for more!!!!!”
Possibly one of the nicest bunch of staff . Have come across. The events manages helped and catered to our every need. In particular Kevin. On the night he made me feel completely at ease! The room was beautiful and the food was deliciousI would recommend them to anyone to have a formal there!

I don't normally go on and review hotels online but I felt I needed to make an exception with the Waterfoot. Last weekend was my 21st Birthday and my partner took me down to Derry/Londonderry to stay overnight at the Waterfoot. Little did I know at the time he was planning a surprise party for me. In total there was 8 of us stayed in the hotel and not one of us had a complaint to make. All the staff were so friendly and would have done anything to help us. They even booked a taxis for us to go out later on that night and gave us suggestions on the best places to go. During our stay we visited the Waterfoot winebar. The food was amazing and thats coming from a very fussy eater. Arizona chicken would be my recommendation! They had a special offer running when we stayed too...........£15 voucher for each person staying at the hotel and this got you your 3 course meal in the winebar. Now you really couldn't beat that. Although my partner and I stayed in the Ambassador suite which was gorgeous and worth every penny, the other rooms which weren't as expensive were ever bit as nice.The only down side to the Waterfoot is that we couldn't of stayed longer. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at the Waterfoot for making my 21st such a memorable one. We will definatiely be back in the near future.
“Perfect Wedding”

We chose the Waterfoot Hotel for our wedding in August 2012 as the hotel was local, had a beautiful setting, great food and staff that were more and very helpful. The package was ideal for us because everything was organised by the hotel representatives and this took away a lot of the stress that planning a wedding brings, not to mention the everyday stress that comes with modern day living. We felt completely assured that the hotel staff were looking after us and what we wanted and needed for our big day.
On the day itself everything was perfect! Kevin was the wedding co-ordinator on the day and he did a superb job with everything running like clockwork. We have struggled to find any fault with the service on the day, and our guests are still talking about the food and the service. What we liked most was the setting of the function room which was absolutely gorgeous and just the perfect size, the colour co-ordination from the lights to the tables settings to the chairs was simply beautiful. Not only was the day itself a wonderful occasion but the finishing touches such as the honeymoon suite and champagne breakfast rounded off a wonderful experience.We will definitely be recomending this hotel to all family and friends, not only for weddings but for any nights out with great food.This hotel definitely has the WOW factor and made our day perfect!

My husband and I are compelled to write this as The Waterfoot Hotel was such a spectacular and unique venue, with a magical interior setting for our wedding.
The exceptional service started from the day we booked-2 years before our wedding date !!!!!!!! The customer service tailored our big day to meet our ever changing needs. The boutique interior of the hotel enabled the most fantastic photo opportunities, and our most memorable moment of the day was having a celebratory drink in the 'Snug Bar', amongst our friends and family, whilst the FA Cup Final was showing. The atmosphere was 'electric' !!!!!!!
We both felt like royalty, upon arrrival at the hotel, and throughout the entire reception. Kevin (Wedding Co-ordinator), our attentive host for the day, had both a calming and 'laid back' influence telling us to relax and enjoy the experience !!!! Really, an asset to The Waterfoot with such personable qualities. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the team, making our wedding meal an amazing culinary delight !!! And to this day-still spoken about by everyone. The professional service had every minute detail/request executed to perfection. Furthermore, the function room, transformed by SBD Events, and also aided by the Waterfoot Hotel- was truly impressive, ultra contemporary and carried a panache of an extremely fine event :)

My family and I dined at the hotel restuarant last night and whilst the food was excellent, the service was even better. Exceptional service from Ciaran and Sean (at the bar) and the rest of the staff. Absolutely first class!!!!

Excellent staff, rooms, foods & service - all in all a very enjoyable stay. Whether enjoying a meal in the restaurant or having a drink in the snug bar you feel relaxed. Have booked again for February - the Waterfoot really can't be beaten for a enjoyable break away!!

Having stayed at the Waterfoot Hotel a few times previously we returned for a girls night out and certainly were not disappointed. The accommodation, food and service were all second to none and the food in the Wine Bar was excellent with the atmosphere really relaxing. Would definitely recommend for great night out.
